Pastor Billy Blankenship - Southland Global Missions
Pastor Billy Blankenship has been featured on a number of radio stations since 1970 when he replaced A.A. Allen's Broadcast on KXEL Radio in Waterloo, Iowa. He still broadcasts on Short Wave Radio and has a website. Pastor Billy had stood up valiantly against the excesses of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and other proponents of the Prosperity Gospel Movement. He is also a very solid teacher of the Bible. We hope to start posting some of his messages on this site very soon.
The Byte Show with GeorgeAnn Hughes
Based upon a tip from Tom Mack of the WhiteStone Foundation, GeorgeAnn Hughes made a trip to Capulin, NM several years ago to meet Chris and Sharon. She was impressed by the fact that they lived what they preached and taught. She was further impressed with the fact that they still loved each other after then 12 years of marriage (they are still known to walk hand in hand in public, like they are newlyweds). Since that time GeorgeAnn has opened her show to Chris and allowed him to speak whatever the LORD has put upon his heart. These days, Chris is now a regular guest on the program. When Chris was producing a radio program for another show host, that program had Tom Mack as a then regular guest on their program. Unlike most of the guests this host had, Tom was different. Chris listened intently as Tom told this show host about his Bible Code Research. Chris got Tom to call him and they began a very long dialogue on a number of topics. A veteran numerical analysis with a Bachelor's degree in Acounting and Finance, and a Master's Degree in Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis. He taught at the college level at Upper Iowa University and the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology (Montana Tech), before he wandered back into Industry working for legal publisher Commerce Clearing House, media giant Thomson-Reuters, and several other companies. He discovered the Bible Code when someone showed him Eliyahu Rips' paper on the Bible Codes. At first, he was skeptical about what he was reading, but in time, he realized that a famous mathematician like Dr. Rips would not stake his reputation on something that he did not think was real. His Bible Code website contains a lot of the research he has done in the codes, but in time, Chris would learn that Tom was not just a one-dimensional researcher. His websites cover a lot of research areas. Tom Mack is also a frequent guest on The Byte Show.
Several years ago, when Chris was first on the radio, he got a call from an "out of the box" Bible researcher named James Whisler. After a few discussions, James Whisler became one of the few guests Chris has ever had on his Stand Therefore program. Chris' interview with James on Yassir Arafat and the Abomination of Desolation is still considered a classic. James Whisler's website contains a lot of information not found on most websites.
