"Mission Trip" to South Africa

In October of 2010, Chris Blodgett made a long trip to Cape Town, South Africa from his comfortable home in New Mexico. However, unlike many of the participants at the Conference, Chris went not as a leader with an opportunity to preach to thousands, but as a "steward" and worked on the security team for the Conference. The LORD sent him there, not to be a "leader," but to serve the participants (both leaders and attendees). His prayer was:
| "I know that I am the least amongst you and pray that God would allow the least, by His Mercy and His Grace, to be used as a vessel by which to pour forth a ripple of God's call to servanthood... That in the pouring there may be a stirring in the hearts of all who hear to fall humbly upon the Cornerstone and be broken...And in that brokenness become leaders that truly have the Heart of God...The Heart of a servant." |
Here are some of the pictures from the conference. Notice the picture in the front center with the South Korean pastor giving a "holy hug" to a North Korean girl who testified at the Conference. It was one of the major highlights of the Conference.
